Situated in the heart of the Dolomites and on the border of South Tirol is the tiny village Arabba (1632 m). With direct access to the Sellaronda tour (Campolongo, Sella, Gardena and Pordoi) and near to the Marmolda glacier (Queen of the Dolomites), Arabba is the perfect location to spend your summer or winter holiday.
Arabba is part of the Dolomit Superski area and some of the better skiing slopes, like the Portavescovo slope, can be found here.
In summer time Arabba is the ideal base for hiking, climbing and cycling holidays.
From Arabba, make exciting cycle tours, over the Falzarego pass, the Valparola pass and back via the Campolongo pass or relive a Giro d Italia stage via the Pordoi pass.
Hikers can go for beautiful walks on the Cherz plateau or follow the Iron trail from Colle Santa Lucia to the Andraz Castle. Very special is the Teriol Ladin walking route around the famous Col di Lana mountain, where trenches from the 1st World War can still be found.
